Castledale

CASTLEDALE, formerly known as Beard Crk, was a farming settlement 45 km southeast of GOLDEN on the COLUMBIA R. It had a school by 1914, a post office from 1914 to 1944, and a population of 60 in 1930. The site is deserted today.
