CLARK, Catherine (Anthony), writer (b 5 May 1892, London, England; d 24 Feb 1977, Victoria). Raised and educated in England, she immigrated to Canada in 1914 and she and her family settled at KOOTENAY LK in the southern Interior of BC. After marrying Leonard Clark, a rancher, she wrote for the Prospector, a community newspaper in NELSON. She was 58 years old before she published her first book, The Golden Pine Cone, in 1950.
