CLOTHIER, Robert Allan, actor, sculptor (b 22 Oct 1921, Prince Rupert; d 10 Feb 1999, N Vancouver). He was a pilot in the Royal Air Force during WWII until an accident in 1945 left him with a broken back. After convalescing for nearly 2 years, he began architecture studies at UBC, then departed for England to pursue training in both theatre and sculpture.
