CLOWHOM LAKE lies in the COAST MTS at the head of Salmon Inlet north of SECHELT. The lake is divided from the inlet at its west end by Clowhom Falls and is accessible only by boat and seaplane. There was a shingle mill at the falls from 1906 to 1931; when it went bankrupt, new owners converted it into a resort, which continues in business.
