Coalition Government

COALITION GOVERNMENT of CONSERVATIVES and LIBERALS held power in BC's provincial legislature from 1941 to 1952. The Coalition was intended to reduce political partisanship during the war and to keep the socialist CCF out of power when it refused to join.
