COCKE, Dennis Geoffrey, politician (b 2 June 1924, Athabasca, AB; d 2 July 2008, New Westminster). Best known as Minister of Health in the NDP administration of Dave BARRETT 1972–75, Dennis Cocke was a stalwart politician of the left in BC for much of his adult life.
