Coutlee

COUTLEE, in the NICOLA Valley 3 km northwest of MERRITT, was the site of the Coutlee Ranch, founded in 1873 by Alexander Coutlee, a former GOLD seeker. He also ran a hotel and store here and his establishment became a stop on the KETTLE VALLEY RWY.
