COYLE, JOSEPH LEOPOLD "Joe," publisher, inventor (b 31 May 1871, Ambleside, ON; d. 18 Apr 1972, New Westminster). He worked as a painter, surveyor and reporter in various locations. Coyle settled in ALDERMERE, in B.C.'s BULKLEY VALLEY, in 1906. He founded the BULKLEY PIONEER in 1907, the OMINECA HERALD in 1908, and the INTERIOR NEWS in 1909.
