CRESTBROOK FOREST INDUSTRIES LTD began life as Cranbrook Sash & Door in 1898. The company grew steadily with the acquisition of several SAWMILLS, LOGGING operations and timber rights in southeastern BC. In 1956 Cranbrook Sash & Door was acquired by the newly formed Crestbrook Timber Ltd. Over the next 10 years the company expanded steadily, acquiring several mills throughout the region.
