CROFTON HOUSE SCHOOL is a private school for girls located in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood of VANCOUVER. Founded in 1898 by Jessie Gordon, a 27-year-old governess, in the billiard room of her parents' home in the city's West End, it is the oldest private school in Canada west of Ontario that is still operating.
