DELASALLE, Philip Lawrence Emmanuel, gymnast (b 18 July 1958, Victoria). One of Canada's greatest male gymnasts, he went to his first Canada Winter Games at age 13 and became the provincial and national junior champion and Canada's outstanding junior athlete in 1973. As Canadian senior champion he went to the 1976 Montreal Olympics where he finished 22nd, the highest standing a Canadian had received to that date.
