DOHERTY, Charles Edward, hospital administrator (b 29 Nov 1873, Peel Country, ON; d 14 Aug 1920, New Westminster). After taking medical training in Toronto he moved to BC in 1900. Almost all of his career was spent as an administrator rather than a practitioner. He worked as superintendent of the hospital in NELSON.
