Edwards, Roger Yorke


EDWARDS, Roger Yorke, wildlife biologist (b 22 Nov 1924, Toronto). After completing a FORESTRY degree at the Univ of Toronto in 1948 and an MS in biology at UBC in 1950, Yorke Edwards moved to VICTORIA to work as a wildlife biologist with the provincial PARKS branch. There he took a leading role in establishing natural history interpretation centres.
