Falk, Agatha "Gathie"

FALK, Agatha "Gathie," artist (b 31 Jan 1928, Alexander, MA). Her parents were MENNONITE immigrants from Russia and she grew up in the Manitoba Mennonite community. Forced by economic circumstance to go to work at the age of 16, she completed high school by correspondence. In 1947 she moved to VANCOUVER, where she worked in a luggage factory.
