FARMER'S DAUGHTER is an all-female country vocal group consisting of Angela Kelman, Shauna Rae Samograd and Jake Leiske. The 3 women, who hail from the Canadian prairies, began singing together in VANCOUVER in the early 1990s. The albums Girls Will Be Girls (1994), with its single "Borderline Angel," and Makin' Hay (1996), featuring "Cornfields or Cadillacs," earned them 11 BC Country Music Assoc awards.
