FLYNN, Errol, film actor (b 1909, Tasmania; d 14 Oct 1959, Vancouver). He was famous for his roles as a swashbuckling romantic lead in a series of Hollywood adventure films in the 1930s. He was 50 years old and much dissipated by alcohol when he arrived in VANCOUVER in Oct 1959 to negotiate the sale of his yacht to a W VANCOUVER stockbroker.
