FOON, Dennis, writer (b 18 Nov 1951, Detroit, MI). After attending the Univ of Michigan he came to VANCOUVER in 1973 to study creative writing at UBC. As co-founder and artistic director of GREEN THUMB THEATRE from 1975 to 1988, he helped push the company to the forefront of innovative, socially engaged THEATRE for young people, revolutionizing youth drama in the country.
