FRASER, Keath, writer (b 24 Dec 1944, Vancouver). After completing a PhD at the Univ of London, he taught literature at the Univ of Calgary for 5 years, then he returned to VANCOUVER in 1978 to become a full-time writer. His first book of stories, Taking Cover (1982), was followed by a second, widely acclaimed collection of fiction, Foreign Affairs (1986), nominated for a GOV GEN'S LITERARY AWARD. His first novel, Popular Anatomy (1995), a large, complex book, won the Chapters/Books in Canada...
