Gordon Head


GORDON HEAD, a former farming and fruit-raising district (see AGRICULTURE) in what is now the northeast corner of VICTORIA, was named after Capt John Gordon, commander of the British naval vessel HMS America in 1845 and brother of the Earl of Aberdeen, British foreign secretary.
