Griffith, Henry Sandham


GRIFFITH, Henry Sandham, architect (b 1865, Oxfordshire, England; d 1944, Vancouver). Educated at Oxford Univ and trained in his native England, he immigrated to Canada in the early 1890s. He worked in Winnipeg and Saskatoon, then established a practice in VICTORIA. He operated one of the quality firms in the capital from 1900 to 1912 and was responsible for several large commercial commissions, including the Times Building and the Stobart-Peas Building.
