Harman, Jack Kenneth


HARMAN, Jack Kenneth, sculptor (b 31 July 1927, Vancouver; d 3 Jan 2001, Vancouver). He began studying sculpture in England, where he was working as a commercial illustrator. After returning to VANCOUVER in 1956, he made a reputation creating large public sculptures while also teaching at the Vancouver School of Art (later EMILY CARR INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN).
