Haufschild, Lutz

HAUFSCHILD, Lutz, artist (b 1943, Breslau, Germany). He has practised as an independent sculptor and stained glass artist in VANCOUVER since 1969. His work constitutes some of the largest architectural stained glass ever executed in N America. His traditional use of colour and glass at Westminster Abbey in the FRASER VALLEY is representative of his ecclesiastical work, while the vast skylights at Coquitlam Centre and windows for Sunridge Mall in Calgary demonstrate a more expressionist style....
