JAMES, Colin, musician (b 1965, Regina). After spending his youth in Saskatchewan, he settled in VANCOUVER in the early 1980s and played in several bands. In 1984 he was discovered by the late blues guitar virtuoso Stevie Ray Vaughan, who took him on as his opening act for a US tour.
