Jedway

JEDWAY is an abandoned MINING community on the east coast of MORESBY ISLAND in the QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLANDS. It began in the early 1900s as a centre for COPPER mining, faded during WWI, then flourished briefly as an iron mining centre from 1961 to 1968.
