KENT, district municipality, pop 6,300 (2021), occupies the north side of the FRASER R in the upper FRASER VALLEY between the Harrison R and HOPE. The main communities are AGASSIZ, site of a Dominion Experimental Farm, and HARRISON HOT SPRINGS. The district, which is in the traditional territory of the STO:LO people, was settled by farmers in the mid-19th century.
