KIMBERLEY DYNAMITERS was the first BC HOCKEY team to win the Allan Cup as Canadian amateur champions in 1936 and went on to win the International Ice Hockey Federation amateur championship in 1937. The Dynamiters appeared in the West Kootenay League in 1931 and first dislodged the TRAIL SMOKE EATERS from BC hockey dominance in 1934.
