KOERNER BROTHERS, Leon (1892–1972), Otto (d 1946) and Walter (1898–1995), were members of a wealthy fourth-generation European lumber dynasty; they fled Czechoslovakia during the Munich Crisis of 1938 shortly before the country was occupied by Nazi troops.
