Kootenay Bay

KOOTENAY BAY, on the east side of KOOTENAY LK 79 km north of CRESTON, is a former steamship landing, now the eastern terminus for the car ferry across the lake from BALFOUR. LOGGING and TOURISM have been important to the area.
