LAVEROCK, Lily, journalist, impresario (b 1890, Edinburgh, Scotland; d 2 Dec 1969, Duncan). After graduating with a philosophy degree from McGill Univ in Montreal, she returned to VANCOUVER, where she had earlier gone to school, and began work with the World NEWSPAPER as its first woman reporter.
