LEHMAN, Jane (Bryant), nurse (b 1913, Absartee, MT; d 1983, Williams Lake). She arrived in BC in 1919 with her parents and 3 siblings; the family settled at SODA CREEK, then moved to the CHILCOTIN. Surmounting many obstacles, she trained as a nurse at Royal Inland Hospital and after graduation returned to ANAHIM LAKE, where her family was living.
