LEONARD, Stan, golfer (b 2 Feb 1915, Vancouver; d 15 Dec 2005, Vancouver). As a youngster he caddied at Shaughnessy Heights GOLF Club and honed his game on VANCOUVER's public courses. At 17 he won the BC amateur championship with homemade clubs. He turned professional in 1937 and in 1942 became the pro at Marine Drive Golf Club in Vancouver.
