Lynn Creek


LYNN CREEK is a turbulent stream flowing south out of the North Shore mountains between GROUSE MT and Lynn Peak, emptying into BURRARD INLET west of the IRONWORKERS MEMORIAL SECOND NARROWS CROSSING. The creek is named for John Linn, a member of the ROYAL ENGINEERS, who built the first home on its banks. The residential suburb of Lynn Valley developed in the early 1900s around J.M.
