MARILLA is a scattered AGRICULTURAL district 60 km south of BURNS LAKE on northeast shore of OOTSA LK. It was first settled in the early 1900s by the Horr family, who got their supplies from BELLA COOLA, 165 km southwest, by pack train. George Henson opened a store in the 1920s.
