MAYNARD, Hannah (Hatherly), photographer (b 17 Jan 1834, Bude, England; d 15 May 1918, Victoria) and Richard James, shoemaker, photographer (b 22 Feb 1832, Stratton, England; d 10 Jan 1907, Victoria). The couple immigrated to Ontario in 1852 and settled in Bowmanville, where Richard opened a boot and shoe business and Hannah learned PHOTOGRAPHY.
