McGREGOR, Donald Alexander, journalist (b 25 Aug 1879, Kincardine, ON; d 31 Oct 1970, Vancouver). After graduating from Queens Univ in 1905, he taught school briefly before joining the Montreal Herald as a police reporter. He moved to VANCOUVER in 1910 and joined the PROVINCE, where he worked for the next 45 years, gaining a reputation as one of the country's best editorial writers.
