MIYAZAKI, Masajiro, doctor (b 24 Nov 1899, Hikone City, Japan; d 24 July 1983, Kamloops). He arrived in VANCOUVER in 1913 and worked as a domestic servant before enrolling at UBC in 1923. Because Asians were not allowed to study medicine there, he went to Missouri and obtained a degree in osteopathy, then returned to Vancouver to practise.
