MOODY, Richard Clement, military engineer (b 13 Feb 1813, Barbados; d 31 Mar 1887, Bournemouth, England). A graduate of the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich, he joined the ROYAL ENGINEERS in 1830 and served in Ireland and the West Indies, and as a professor at Woolwich.
