MUSSALLEM, Helen Kathleen, nursing educator (b 7 Jan 1915, Prince Rupert; d 9 Nov 2012, Ottawa, ON). She began her career as a nurse at VANCOUVER General Hospital and during WWII served overseas in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. After the war she attended Columbia Univ in New York, then taught at the VGH School of NURSING from 1947 to 1957.
