NINSTINTS, now abandoned, was the main Kunghit HAIDA village on the QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLANDS. It was located in a sheltered bay on the eastern side of Anthony Island. The name comes from the English version of the name of a local chief, Nan stins. During the 1840s the town had 20 houses and a population of 300.
