NORTHCOTT, Tom, singer (b 29 Aug 1943, Vancouver). A pioneering VANCOUVER folk-rock singer and recording artist, Northcott embodied flower power in the city in the late 1960s, with hit singles such as "Sunny Goodge Street," "1941," "Girl of the North Country" and "Suzanne."
