Pacific Biological Station

PACIFIC BIOLOGICAL STATION is a federal marine research facility established in Departure Bay at NANAIMO in 1908. Rev George Taylor, a naturalist and Anglican cleric, was a strong advocate for the creation of the station, and he served as its first director.
