Pacific Coast Children's Mission

PACIFIC COAST CHILDREN'S MISSION began in 1944 when Alf Bayne and his wife Margaret purchased a work boat, renamed it the Goforth and began visiting BC's coast communities as far north as PRINCE RUPERT as an offshoot of the Child for Christ Crusade. Since 1948 the mission has been based at its Homewood property overlooking Gowlland Harbour on QUADRA ISLAND, providing Christian outreach through Sunday schools, Bible classes, summer camps and outdoor education programs.
