PACIFIC COAST HOCKEY ASSOCIATION, 1911–26, was founded by the Patrick family: Joe and HOCKEY-playing sons Lester PATRICK and Frank PATRICK. Lester played professionally with the Montreal Wanderers and both sons starred with the Renfrew Millionaires in Ottawa in 1909–10 before retiring temporarily to work in Joe's LOGGING and SAWMILLING business in NELSON.
