Paull, Andrew


PAULL, Andrew, Squamish leader (b 26 Feb 1892, Squamish; d 28 July 1959, Vancouver). He was raised on the SQUAMISH Nation RESERVE in N VANCOUVER and attended St Paul's RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL on the reserve. He worked in a VANCOUVER law office, then as a longshoreman before joining the McKENNA–McBRIDE COMMISSION as an interpreter in 1913.
