POLLEN, Peter, car dealer, politician (b 26 Oct 1927, Regina; d 3 Jan 2017, Victoria). A graduate of the Univ of Toronto, he arrived in VICTORIA in 1963 and became a successful car dealer. He joined city council as an alderman in 1969 and won election as mayor for 4 terms (1971–75; 1981–85).
