PORT METRO VANCOUVER is located around the shores of BURRARD INLET. In terms of tonnage handled, it is Canada's largest port and the second largest port on the west coast of N America, after Long Beach, CA. In 2014 total shipments through the port were 140 million tonnes, an increase of 3% over the previous year. The port handles 19% of Canada's total trade.
