PRIESTLEY was a LOGGING community 20 km east of BURNS LAKE on the CNR. The station here was originally named Sheraton after a place in England. The first homesteaders arrived after WWI and a school was established in the 1920s, as was a camp for cutting railway ties. The post office closed in 1952 and by 1999 little remained of the settlement.
