RATTENBURY, Francis Mawson, architect (b 11 Oct 1867, Leeds, England; d 28 Mar 1935, Bournemouth, England). He trained as an architect in England with his uncles and was already an award-winning designer when he immigrated to BC in 1892. He opened an office in VANCOUVER; less than a year later he won a competition to design the new LEGISLATIVE BUILDINGS in VICTORIA.
