Red Lake

RED LAKE, 40 km northwest of KAMLOOPS, is a ranching (see CATTLE INDUSTRY) and recreational district at the southern edge of the CARIBOO. There are many cottages around the lake itself and small acreages in the general area. A post office operated from 1920 to 1962.
