RINGWOOD, Gwen Pharis, dramatist (b 13 Aug 1910, Anatone, WA; d 24 May 1984, Williams Lake). She came to Canada in 1931 to study at the Univ of Alberta and began her career as a prolific playwright in 1935 while working at the Banff School of Fine Arts.
